Dave Cherry will lead discussion of this important topic
Everyone is welcome to come along to this meeting and discuss the Church’s support for our two charities: Caring for Life in Cookridge, Leeds and Kisiizi Hospital in Uganda.
The Adventure of God’s Presence in Everyday Life
With Guest Speaker: Bishop Helen-Ann of Ripon
Hosted by Otley Parish Church on behalf of Christians in the town
An informal and safe place to come and learn about prayer. Be encouraged in your relationship with God as we approach the coming year. In the morning we’ll pray, sing and listen together. Lunch will be ‘bring and share’.
Church will be open for private or small-group prayer in the afternoon.
From the 12th to the 15th December, forty Christmas trees with lights will be installed inside Otley Parish Church and forty charities or community groups will be invited to decorate one each. Each tree will have a collecting bucket and all donations collected will stay with that group for them to use in their good work in our local community. There will be musical performances each day and a cafe throughout. Admission is free, but please be generous!
