As part of the national Heritage Open Days, the church – the oldest building in Otley – will be open with special displays.
- NEW THIS YEAR: Display of Anglian cross pieces dating from the 8th, 9th and 10th centuries
- Talk outlining the story behind putting these significant cross pieces on display at 11am
- Short talk titled “Chancel Tour” at 2pm
- History Trails for all ages
- Visit the impressive Navvies’ Memorial in the churchyard and view the accompanying display concerning early, local railway history in church*
- Display of historical documents and information about the church bells
- Rolling presentations describing the stained glass windows and a virtual tour of the tower, including views from the top

As part of the national Heritage Open Days and Yorkshire Churches Day, Otley Parish Church – the oldest building in Otley and Grade 1 listed – will be open with special displays.
- Display of Anglian cross pieces dating from the 8th, 9th and 10th centuries
- Guided tour and talk at 11am and 2pm entitled: “The Story of Otley Parish Church in 25 Objects”
- Tower open for guided visits to see the bells, the ancient clock mechanism and the ringing chamber (but not the top – for safety reasons)
- Visit the impressive Navvies’ Memorial in the churchyard*
- History Trails for all ages
- Rolling presentations describing the stained glass windows and a virtual tour of the tower, including views from the top
