This summer, Otley Baroque is returning to Otley Parish Church for another fabulous concert on Sunday afternoon after their successful New Year Concert.
The theme of concert is ‘Harmony of the Nations’. You will hear a reunited taste of the 18th century France and Italy such as François Couperin’s Les Nations and Telemann’s Paris Quartet.
For this project, Otley Baroque received support from Leeds Inspired (Leeds City Council) which makes it possible to have a proper harpsichord in the venue and to invite two amazing musicians from York;
– Graham O’Sullivan, a baroque flute player who regularly appears in Dunedin Consort, English Baroque Soloists etc.
– Mie Hayashi, a harpsichordist who studied in London and is active as ensemble musician and soloist such as the Helschel Trio, also made her solo CD ‘Ascents Of The Soul’ recently.
Also featuring: Asuka Sumi (baroque flute) and Amélie Addison (baroque cello).
Adult ticket, £10 from the link above (plus small booking charge) or by e-mail to otleybaroque@gmail.com – free for children under 16 (little ones are welcome).
