God and the Big Bang wants to encourage everyone to get excited about the all-important questions about life and the universe! Three scientists will help us explore this subject through presentations, interviews and the opportunity to put questions to the panel.
Dr Matt Pritchard is a science magician and Curator of Wonder. Previously, he conducted atomic physics research at Durham University and has spent the last 18 years working as a professional magician. He is recognised and respected as an independent science communicator and will deliver the keynote talk – “Words on Wonder”. Read more about Matt here
The evening will provide an opportunity to discover, discuss and debate the compatibility of science and faith. We hope in part to reflect the amazing array of ways that science and faith interact in our lives, whether we’re scientists or not.
Come with your questions. Light refreshments will be available.
Everyone is welcome. Free entry
